Is it just me or are games getting shorter and shorter lately? And with a lot less replayability than they used to?
I finally got a 360 and have since acquired Bioshock, The Darkness, Dark Sector, Gears of War, and Perfect Dark Zero. All pretty good games but they play for about a half a day (except Gears of War, General ASSRAAM is a BASTARD man) and then they're done story-wise. I don't have Xbox Live Gold just yet so I can't play anything online, but even so, multiplayer isn't what a game's strongpoint should be. Sure, Bioshock and Darkness have awesome stories and gameplay, but nothing so awesome that I go "Shit man I need to play again!" anytime soon. Dark Sector just sucked in the story department and Gears of War and PDz were nothing special. I'm -hoping- to remedy this by getting Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 soon.
Seriously, what's up with developers nowadays?
