Couple months away, one misses on all the opportunities to protect or blam...Time to make up!

Posted by velociraptor1 Mar. 25, 2008 @ 10:23 PM EDTI've undergone some surgery at the beginning of the month and I really have nothing else to do except lay in my bed and fry my brain with stuff from the computer. Flash movies, games, etc.
Newgrounds just happens to be my frequent spot for many of these things. So there shall be an increase in my activity...particularly my voting. Considering the circumstances of my disabling, I feel no shame in spending some quality time blamming or saving (Psh, right) submitted flashes and really, anything else. Not like I have anything better to do.
So, I shall chip away, bit by bit, at the foundation of spam, blamming anything I may come across on my occasional voting sprees. (Pshaw. I'm not spending -all- my time voting. You kidding me? There's demons in Kurast to be destroyed! And most of the Western Kingdom and part of the East as well...)
What better way to build up my experience to gain some extra punch in my votes anyways?

Aside from all that bs, I just might take a peek at some of the other series or collections...I hope I'm not disappointed.
But really. If you're reading this you probably have better things to do yourself. Shoo! Go!
PS: To any who have a full favorite movie list, do you have problems loading the list to edit them? My browser keeps freezing...

My faith in humanity thins as I see people worship people like SBC. And then they dare say that SBC is better than Krinkels, the God of random slaughter animation. (By the way, Inundation, the 8th episode, is finally out. Booya!)

Things are bothering me...I've seen praising reviews get marked as abusive/useless (other than my own), and the opposites get marked as helpful. In my experience, something that comes even remotely close to being 'mean' gets marked as abusive. Do people want things candy-coated? Do they expect everyone to love everything? My theory is that they're just being jackasses and/or they don't have a skin thick enough to withstand my (or anyone else's) hard-given truth. Well, it's their hard-earned failure (well, sometimes). You get what you give. You give us shit, we give you shit.
I've also experienced that none of the staff appear to care about their flawed security system. I've contacted them numerous times, about reviews that are nowhere near 'abusive', reviews that are -praising- the animation and yet are marked to be deleted due to 'abusiveness'. And then I get reviews marked for deletion/abusiveness that I've never written! I report these findings, and I get ignored.
How lovely.
Edit: March 1st
I got a message today from M-Bot:

This is the bullshit I'm talking about. Apparently confusion mixed with disgust is considered abusive now.
On top of that, the animation was completely and utterly crappy as I expected, not the amusement which I futily hoped for. So I decided to be nice. And this is what happens. If an animation is shit we aren't allowed to say so, nice or otherwise anymore.

I don't care about protection points. I don't care about blam points. I don't care about experience points. I'm here to watch good flash and listen to good audio.
I am not here for shit and spam flashes.
My judgement will be swift and very rarely will it be between 0 and 5. There are no exceptions. All too common is it that crap and spam get passed through judgement. And all too common is it that the support staff don't check just what is being reported as abusive.
